We are family owned and operated by a Mother/Daughter team in the Big Country region of West Texas, not too far from Abilene.
It all began 15 years ago with a small purchase at the State Fair in our (then) home state of New York. Little did we know that this one small purchase would change not only our lives, but our lifestyles as well. The purchase? A small 6" X 12" pillow filled with a variety of herbs, corn and rice and claiming to relieve aches and pains of arthritis, sprains, muscle strain and the like, or so the label said. Curiosity got the best of us, so "Mom" purchased several and took them home. After trying them and finding to our delight that they worked just like the label said they would, she took one apart to "get the inside story" and began researching the various herbs named on the label. So began our journey into the wonderful world of herbs...
We first marketed our products at craft shows and flea markets in upstate New York, and after a few years, established a physical presence in the City of Norwich, New York, with the opening of a brick & mortar store on Route 12. After attending a few seminars on e-commerce and internet marketing, we decided to close down the brick and mortar and "work smarter, not harder", or so they said. In 2004, we joined the ebay marketplace, where we are currently a Top Rated Seller and a Power Seller and work hard to maintain our 100% positive feedback rating. (Smarter, not harder??? I think not!)
In 2007 we finalized our move to Texas where we can enjoy summer for 9 months and plant our gardens twice every year. In addition to ebay, we market our products at local flea markets and trade days. And, here we are in 2010, taking the jump to our own e-commerce website, which we have styled as close to our ebay store as possible so our customers immediately feel at home. We offer the same quality products, the same low prices (lower in some cases!), the same consumer-driven excellent customer service we are known for, and even the same web address.
